Celebrate Spring by crafting a meringue masterpiece piled high with seasonal fruits, flowers, and a cloud of cream. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll master both fundamental and intricate piping techniques to create a showstopping structure. I will guide you step-by-step through making the perfect meringue, seasonal fruit compote, and infused cream. After all the fun, we’ll gather to enjoy our creations over tea. You’ll head home with your own personal Pavlova to recreate the magic all weekend long. instructor Overview Leila Clement I am a professional pastry cook and baker who believes the best way to connect is through something made by hand. My own culinary journey began as a self-taught learner, which gives me a unique perspective on how to break down complex skills effectively. Having worked in fine-dining pastry departments and award-winning bakeries, I now focus on bridging the gap between professional technique and the home kitchen. Because I started exactly where you are, I find so much joy in helping students break through technical barriers and grow their confidence. I am a firm believer in staying in a ‘student mindset’. I view class as a collaborative space where we can all learn from one another. I can’t wait to see what we create together! Having worked in fine-dining pastry departments and award-winning bakeries, I presently work at Quail and Condor honing my craft and expanding my knowledge. Through teaching, I now focus on bridging the gap between professional technique and the home kitchen.
